This is something that I've been working on off late as well,
This is an old style quill stem, for a 1 inch steerer, but the customer wanted a bit of a new school touch on it, a clamp that could accept modern 31.8 oversize bars. the quill is 4130 cromoly, the lower clamp is a very high end material called 17-4ph stainless steel, which is used in the aerospace industry for turbine blades. expensive metal this !! and the top clamp is 6082 heat treated aluminum alloy. CNC machined and fillet brazed construction. Since majority of the parts on it are steel, its a tad heavy, but the customer is not too weight conscious. By the way, this part wont be ridden in this part of the world, this one is heading straight to hong kong ! PSYNYDE going international, yeah baby ! Its not yet complete, some chrome and laser engraving remains.

P.S. the bar on the customers bike would be a bull horn, this pic is just for representation.
